Fair say there Chris.

However, I think the next iPhone will release in 09 (as they seem to have an improved model once a year).

I have been a Nokia user for the past 7 - 8 years, but they now have way too much competition to deal with.

The Samsung one is where I am heading towards, given that it's OS is windows mobile - which I am assuming is simply easy and compatible with the applications that I use (Outlook, MS Sync and so on).

I'll wait till the official announcement of the price from Samsung before making the decision.

Until then, we'll have to wait and see the CBE blog come along.

As a mobile media mogul, one who is at the forefront of the Australian off deck mobile Industry and self proclaimed technophobe, to me the iPhone is a stand out winner. I too have the unfortunate pleasure of owning the cumbersome Nokia N95 with a keypad thats too small, a navigational file structure that's totally beyond me (as an average user) and a track record of dropping calls like no other nokia I've ever had before - and I've been loyal to Nokia for the past 10 years.

I could list other comparissons and similarities that the Nokia has with your standard house brick but will refrain, simply to say that its only redeeming feature is the Camera.

And this is what currently lets the iPhone down.

However, I give it until the end of the year before iPhone bring it up to par. As it stands at the moment, success in sales will stem from its 'coolness' and consumers desire simply to have one. Much like when iPod first came out. No-one really cared about its colourless screen and lack of storage, it was simply the thing to have.

The same with iPhone. If you are one of the flock, then follow the sheep down to the Apple store on July 11 and pick one up, but if you want a serious replacement to the N95, I'd hang on.

Before you know it, they'll be black ones, white ones, pink ones, green ones, ones with 100Mb storage, ones with 5G, one's integrated with Bluetooth capabilities that sync directly with your brain projecting images via the optic nerve directly into your eye ball allowing you to see at night, the list goes on but for now stick with what you've got (or at least wait until I get one first)

CBE Official Blog coming soon - god help you all.

"If you wanna be someone, buy an iPhone- If you are someone, you own an Omnia"

I joke, i joke. VL it's totally a taste thing, but if i was in your shoes i'd wait for the next super cool phone - the N95 is good enough. Otherwise, if you're in a moneymoon feeling i think the omnia is cool enough to freeze water. I particularly like the vista aero ui theme!

It has almost everything the iPhone has but better,
ask your mates who own an iPhone or search the google for reviews ala (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i900_omnia_announced_live_pics_inside-news-519.php)
