Fable 2 – questions about lost dog

I got a lot of people asking about how you can get back your dead dog in Fable 2.
If you have got the new expansion (Fable 2 – Knothole Island) - then see this article on how to get your dog back
The rest of the article below is for those who haven’t downloaded the new expansion.
Now, those who don’t have the new expansion, the answer is – you can’t get your lost dog back!
WARNING THE BELOW IS A SPOILER. WARNING THE BELOW IS A SPOILER.
It’s the decision you’ve made when you were give the options by the blue-light-eye lady. The three options you got was:
1) Love – revive your loved ones – your spouse, children and even your dog.
2) Sacrifice – revive all those who died in the making of the spire – but you don’t get back your dog, spouse or children.
3) Greed – a million gold and everyone else stays dead
You simply have to start a new characted all over to get your dog back.
When I played it, I choose Love. Sure, I got a lecture from Hammer about why I did that – but as I said in my review – I love my dog, and I wouldn’t want to lose him.
So, if you want your dog back - then go ahead and pay for and download the new Knothole Island expansion and sacrifice someone for your dog.

I got my dog back on the knothole island premium exppansion. You have to sacrifice someone and everyone seems to know it but who cars! it is in the little graveyard.

You can get your dog back without purchasing the new expansion.
After choosing ‘sacrifice’, I spoke with the demon door under castle fairfax. after a few random commentaries he spoke about how the rookridge door would enjoy my hairy companion. When I went near the demon door at rookridge, my dog was waiting for me.
I take that back. Looks like he’s stuck by the door.
Are you serious you just purchase the nex expansion and you get your dog back and are able to find treasure and all that
