Vicky Lalwani born on Nov 1983 in India, moved to Lagos, Nigeria at the age of 2. His parents have been residing in Nigeria working in a seafood import business.
After spending 10 years in Nigeria for his primary schooling, Vicky then moved to a boarding school (GSIS, India) for his further high school education. It was then back in 1997 that Vicky picked up the interest in programming and the web in general.
Finishing high school in 2001, Vicky immediately picked up a Bachelor of IT degree at Bond Univeristy, Australia the same year and majored in Software Engineering two years later. He then made the decision to take up a Masters in IT degree with the focus on Executive Management along with the addition of Project Management.
Starting as a developer with Wiliam Pty Ltd, Vicky was, 3 months later, promoted to Development Team Leader and then shortly after given the added responsibility of the production team as their Production Manager. Vicky left Wiliam in 2007 standing as their Web Services Director in his last 6 months with them. This is when Vicky knew that his desired career path was taking him towards staff and project management and today works at Fairfax Digital in the Online Real Estate team as their Technical Project Manager.
Having always been fascinated by technology and its use in current society, Vicky has a passion for writing about the current events and changes along with his thoughts on the use of upcoming developments.
Besides surfing the Internet, listening to music, watching TV or blistering his thumbs on the Xbox360, Vicky loves cooking and enjoys a sociable lifestyle.
In spending most of his life focusing on his education, Vicky spent a lot of time away from his parents, though needless to say that - it is through their enormous support that he able to stand where he is today.
