Funny yes, however when a scenario such as the Facebook fake worthy of your blog to a certain extent becomes a reality you can start to understand and see the relevance to my point that technology kills relationships.

SMS, email and now Facebook can all play their part in slowly disolving the core foundation of a relationship - trust.

It beg to differ with anyone who has never been "curious" as to who their significant other is texting so late on in the evening?

SMS is one thing but Facebook escalated things to another level with their 'tagging' functionality.

Who in their right mind would not wonder why their significant other is being tagged in photo's from a "night out" looking rather cosy in the company of others when "I thought I knew all of your friends darling?"

Is this sounding like a comment from one who was scorned yet?!

Excellent work VL, I see that your Foxtel experience was a pleasurable one, and I wish you all the very best of luck with finding something worthwhile to watch on over 200 channels of rubbish.

My fingers are also crossed that you never have the misfortune of having to deal with Foxtels Customer Care Department, an experience that led to the cancellation of my subscripition. You will remember the debacle of 16 phone calls and the delivery of 3 seperate set-top boxes just to get the right one to me back in 2005.

You will also recall the 3 mornings that I took off of work waiting for the Foxtel Guy to come and fix the box, never showing up in the allocated time that foxtel promised.

And you will also remember the random billings of $298 and $300 over 2 months that Foxtel debited from my account AFTER I had cancelled my subscription, that they simply could give no reasoning for.

If nothing goes wrong, Foxtel are brilliant. If it goes bang, foxtel f-f-f**king suck and you can come round and watch TiVo at my place.

Good luck, and I really do mean that!

Fair say there Chris.

However, I think the next iPhone will release in 09 (as they seem to have an improved model once a year).

I have been a Nokia user for the past 7 - 8 years, but they now have way too much competition to deal with.

The Samsung one is where I am heading towards, given that it's OS is windows mobile - which I am assuming is simply easy and compatible with the applications that I use (Outlook, MS Sync and so on).

I'll wait till the official announcement of the price from Samsung before making the decision.

Until then, we'll have to wait and see the CBE blog come along.

I'd hope that these wouldn't be placed in your average pub. I'm thinking more like the Astral bar or Club 36 in Shangri-La sort of market.

There is also talk about the material used, which is more durable than a pokie machine screen.
